After more than 20 years directing superyacht design teams for other world leading design studios, Adrian Chisnell founded his highly anticipated studio Chisnell Design in 2024.
With several projects already underway, the Studio has quickly become a go to choice for the most discerning of yacht Owners and their teams.
Adrian’s prior experience in helping to create pivotal award winning superyachts such as Sophia, Faith, Obsidian and IJE, to name just a few, as well as many revolutionary tenders and chase boats, provides the firmest of foundations for the new Studio. The whole Chisnell Design team prides itself on creating truly personal design journeys for every Client with a guiding ethos of truly bespoke excellence at every step.
Our Studio
Our passion is in creating the very best of the best – we develop a deep connection with every project, closely collaborating with Owners and their teams to develop proper yachts, in both form and function, into ultimate reality.
And being sailors ourselves, decades of design experience combines with a deep understanding of the sea to ensure every design detail is properly considered and surpasses expectations.
Our team comprises experienced yacht designers, 3D modellers, CGI specialists, interior designers, FF&E specialists plus others, hand picked to provide the high level of design services we strive to achieve.
Location
Nestled in the heart of the renowned yachting mecca of Lymington, our Studio is situated on town’s historic quayside. A stone’s throw from the water, our creative home is located in a former shipping suppliers’ bakery, built in 1675. With deep connections to the yachting community around us and the vibrant local Superyacht industry, we are well placed to draw on inspiration and expertise in equal measures.
Being in an area of outstanding natural beauty adjoining the New Forest National Park, this vibrant yachting centre lies on the edge of The Solent, one of the finest yacht racing areas in the World and a fabulous playground for the team to enjoy.
